France often do quite well against Spain, I remember making a tidy sum when they knocked Spain out of the 2006 WC. I am hopeful they can do something here. If Ribery has an amazing game and Benzema pots one form 25 yards it could happen.

It would be interesting to see Spain having to chase a game for once.

OTOH I've got Llorente at 500/1 for top tournament scorer so if he did somehow appear and hit a hat-trick then that would not go amiss!

Astonishing price of 2.76 available for Over 2.5 considering the scoring potential of both these teams. I don't know what's happened but both teams must be fielding 11 defenders. Can't believe it.

I traded out after the first goal at 1.92. I watched the game and placed no more bets. This was a shameful, gutless performance by the french who seem to have no pride in themselves or in their country.

I apologise for encouraging people to think that the French would play with some sense of patriotism. The players are spoiled brats.
