  • Sweden - England

Sweden - England. Sweden lost in first round. Ibrahimovic managed to open the score, but Shevchenko scored two goals in seven minutes. Ukraine won with 2-1. Sweden has zero points. But did not play bad in the first stage. England drew in first stage, 1-1 with France. Lescott managed to score, bringing England in advantage, but France equalized to 1-1. Both teams still have chances of qualification in next phase. There are many calculations made ??here by coaches, players. There are a lot of "if". Will be a very disputed match. I think Sweden and England will be able to score in this match. Ibrahimovic can score. England has good players. Even if has many players unavailable, Hodgson has a choice. Both teams have players who can score, have players who can make the difference. Is 23rd match between Sweden and England. Sweden has six wins, England has seven wins and nine matches ended in a draw. Only five matches ended 0-0 in the history of direct matches. Both teams can score today. I think it will be 2-1 for England.

I was really impressed by England's defense against France. Seemed really stable. The biggest problem for England is the offense. Rooney is really missing. For me it's a 1 - 1. Altough I hope England will win... can't stand Sweden.

I am hoping that there will be an early goal and think that Over 2.5 at the current price of 2.26 is good.

I am tempted to back Ibrahimovic to be shown a card at 5. I think he will play an important part in the game by either scoring a goal, being sent off or both. Depending on what I see, if there is no early goal I will certainly trade out for a loss.

I have a strange feeling that this game could turn out to be very controversial. I have no great confidence and I have to be honest and say that my Over 2.5 bet is purely speculative to give me an interest in the game. I will ensure that I do not lose more than 25% of my initial stake. If I end up winning, that would be good, if I lose, no big deal.

If I needed to trade for a living, I wouldn't bother with this game at all.

I have a lot of hope for England tonight. We clearly have the better players. If you had to pick a best 11 from both sides it would be mainly England players.

If you look at the goals Sweden conceeded it suggests we can have a lot of joy in the air at set pieces. I fancy JT for a goal or even Lescott again with Carroll being a decoy.

If it's Milner and Young I worry we won't have enough width. However I can see Walcott coming on after 60 mins and having a lot of joy. Could be a good chance for Defoe too later on. If we can make a breakthrough and keep Zlatan quiet then I think we can come on strong in the last 30 and win this one convincingly.

        3-0 England.

          Woy:

Even so, the England boss does not expect Sweden to underestimate his team. In fact, he believes Friday's opponents will be playing with extra motivation.

"I would be surprised if teams weren't taking England seriously," said Hodgson.

"We will never be taken lightly, not least because of the quality of the Premier League and the famous names in there.

"To some extent we run the risk of a country like Sweden, who spend a lot of their time watching the Premier League, getting extra motivation to beat us because they like to show these highly-paid superstars are no better than their own players."

This is smart I think, he's putting down a challenge to the England players. I'm expecting a big performance tonight!

Me too ! Unfortunately, that performance will be from Ibrahimovic. He will score, win a penalty or get an England player sent off. It would be nice to see the pundits put in their place. They have criticised him enough and tonight I hope they have to eat their words.

I heard Martin O'Neill call him ordinary and lazy in the last WC which astonished me. Anyone that doubts this guy's ability is nuts. However I think JT and Lescott will be a good match up against Ibrahimovic. Cutting off the supply is the best way to handle this guy in open play and I think England can do that.

England drifting like the proverbial barge! 2.50 now!

I'm wondering if Parker is out or some other injury? Or is it a "herd" for Sweden??? Perhaps it is the custard effect. We get a good result against the French only to be unfancied against a team that conceeded two awful goals and lost!
