  • FA Cup Final

It's that time of year again, what used to be a Saturday afternoon event is now a 5.30pm kick off. At least there's not a Northern side in it with the inconvenience of fans trying to get home late Saturday night.

Well everyone seems to be tipping Arsenal to overcome Aston Villa, but, is that how it will pan out?
When I die and they lay me to rest,
I'm gonna get pissed with Georgie Best

Sadly, I feel that it will be very boring. Arsenal will pass the ball from side to side , Aston Villa will rely on the long ball. Arsenal will probably win with the only goal of the game and my Over 2.5 goals will be a waste of time. The game will hardly be helped as a spectacle by the fact that Jonathan Moss is the referee. He is pretty useless and it's a shame that somebody like Mike Dean or Mark Clattenberg is not officiating.

I am pretty good at tipping football matches but whenever I tip on this forum I end up being totally wrong. If the boring game doesn't come to pass this is my alternative -

    (i) heavy tackles,

    (ii) Poor Moss

    (iii) more heavy tackles

(iv) Moss loses the plot and either gives a dubious penalty or sends somebody off without good reason,

    (v) warfare, not boring and even some goals.

Well the pundits were right with Arsenal scoring 4 - some good odds out there for O2.5 and O3.5

It was a pretty boring game none the less so I didn't watch it all and therefore can't comment on the ref

The odds for Over 2.5 at kick off were a bit tight so I did a straight punt on cards being Over 45 points. I should have won early in the game and had to sweat until Agbonlahor got himself a silly yellow for arguing with the referee. The referee wasn't dreadful as I have seen him to be before and for him he had quite a good game.

My time is coming to an end now. One more game of football and I will finish, and only trade infrequently if at all. My house went on the market yesterday and when it is sold I am off to Thailand to die in the sun

Thank you mr. van Gaal for winning FA Cup with Manchester United. Now Wayne Rooney has all titles in England. Good luck in new club "The special one".
