Anyway here's my faultless analysis and well researched (not) betting advice.
Europe
1 Paul Laurie and Peter Hanson.
WTF was Olazabal doing, these guys are 2 steady players that DO NOT have the style of play that lends itself to fourball golf. Both would have been ideal partners for anybody in the foursomes but no, Olly had to play his ****ing petulant love child Seeeerrrrrgggiiiiiooooo. I hope their confidence hasn't been destroyed by his ill considered choice.
Do not back or lay any match they are involved in.
2 Sergio
He cannot putt on normal greens, so why in Christ's name does Olazabal think he can putt on greens reading 13.5 on the stimpmeter?
If he goes ahead in any game, be it foursomes, fourball or singles, LAY him immediately. His "fragile" confidence will collapse as soon as he has his first horror putt.
2 Lee Westwood
Copy and paste from Sergio ->
Yada, Yada, Yada
If he goes ahead in any game, be it foursomes, fourball or singles, LAY him immediately. His "fragile" confidence will collapse as soon as he has his first horror putt.
3 Luke Donald
Boring but admirable, brilliant mental strength so lay the opposition if he goes behind early at any stage, UNLESS he is burdened with Sergio or Westwood.
4 Coalserts
Back him in any match, do it early, he is World matchplay champion, hits it miles and fearless.
By the way he beat McDowell easily in matchplay, McDowell is obviously the team leader this time but Coalserts sits on the bench in the fourball and Sergio and Lee start, Jose Maria, you are a ****ing idiot.
5 Rory & Gmac
Rory is tired, Gmac is not as good as he thinks he is. If they go ahead early in any game, lay them, unless Woods or Snedeker is the opposition.
Olazalbal : Think Roy Hodgson at Liverpool, pitifull and out of his depth.
USA
1
Davis Love - He's the nice neighbour next door, but you are shagging his wife on the side.
2
Tiger Woods : Best golfer ever lived, my arse, he cannot hit a fade, he cannot hot a driver. He is however blessed with mental fortitude not present in anyone else in golf. I he goes ahead in any games especially 2 up before the 8th or 9th lay him, he will be overbet and the odds will not erode too quickly if a fightback does not materialise.
3
Stricker : Looks doomed to be Tiger's punchbag for the weekend, leave the poor little fella alone.
4
Keegan Bradley : Awsome with Phil, but adrenaline so high I will be laying him in the singles as the inevitable comedown will arise as soon as the team dynamic disappears.
5
Big Phil
Brutal record in this event, Bradley has made him look good, as soon as the singles start lay him, he really doesn't give a shit about this event but sees it as part of his job so the true Phil will resurface on Sunday.
6
Webb Simpson
Needs a haircut., NOW!
7 Dustin Johnson
Disregard the team events and back him in the singles, his emotions will remain constant so ideal for Sunday when the rest of them will be swaying like reeds in a storm.
8
Snedeker
Lay him in everything, motivation out the window after last weekend and suffering a severe case of financial indigestion.
9 Bubba
What can we say?
Don't back him, don't lay him, just love him.
There are many players not referenced above, this is because they are unimportant, why ?
Because I said so.
