    Video Link

Just a quick clip to show my set-up.

I mainly concentrate on just the favourite in the last ten minutes before the off, i have TT and two copies of BetFair and Square open that i use for graphs, i open the graph up 20 mins before each race ready for the last 10 minutes, hence having two copies, one that i am using and one that is loading.

I base most of my entry points on when the actual price breaks the moving average on the chart, the clip shows me scratching a trade but the trades that i made previous was a downward 3 ticker from 5 - 4.7 and just a 1 tick scalp from 4.7 - 4.6, giving a 10% return on stake.

I just done this video to test out the recording software really, the file ended up quite large for just a small clip! Hopefully i will do a longer one with proper stakes in the not too distant future!!!

Also i am trying to give TG a bit of inspiration on the graphs front!!

Hmm....it means you have 3 API applications opened at the same time so how about Betfairs data request charges ?

I have never been charged data charges, i have been wondering why and the only thing i can think of is because BetFair and Square is a simulator.

I had loads of problems as well with version 1, version 2 worked o.k for me though.

From the Betfair and Square forum:

As many BetFairAndSquare users are aware, we use the FREE Betfair API to power the software. It costs us nothing to use the data and there is no cost to you, the end user, to use the data.

Because its FREE, there are limitations to the data supplied. (Limited by Betfair NOT BetFairAndSquare).

A few that come to mind are:

                  1) You are only allowed to view 5 markets per 60 seconds.

                  2) You are only allowed to view the market data 60 times every 60 seconds (once per second).

                  3) You can only view the Back & Lay odds/amounts 3 ways either side (3x Lay, 3x Back).

                  4) You can place LIVE bets but the editing of unmatched bets is limited.

                  5) Can only update your LIVE account balance once every 60 seconds.

Now, the FULL ACCESS VERSION costs us £200 per month but includes:

                  1) Unlimited market views per minute.

                  2) Data per millisecond (as long as you don't throttle the Betfair servers).

                  3) Complete Back & Lay odds unmatched on the server.

                  4) Place LIVE bets on Betfair with FULL unmatched editing facilities.

                  5) Unlimited updates of your account balance.

Therefore, if we want a live version of BetFairAndSquare, we're gonna have to pay for it!!!!!

With limited API are the graphs still useful - this sounds like an application I would like to experiment with!

I found it works o.k, i get the direction correct more times than not, as well as multiple ticks.
The graph updates about every 4/5 seconds, if the price line is hovering above the moving average line, i watch the ladder and if the price drops a further one or two ticks then that to me is a place of entry and an indication that the moving average has been broken, vice versa in an upward moving market.

£200 a month or £2400 a year, cant see too many lining up for that, theres not enough "Includes" for me.
                          includes would be

A facillity to so winners and back them or should i lose the abillity to say look i made a mistake, can i have my cash back.

I believe that the £200 quoted is how much it costs if you want to run an application on the full API and not per subscriber, TG is kind enough to pay this cost on behalf of everyone that uses TT, i am certainly grateful to him for that.
