  • Double hedge.

    Hi!
Very rarely, but neatly, I do double hedge, is especially frustrating that it happens inplay.
Example: I have 40$ lay on 10.0, go to inplay, click to hedge 10.5 38.1$ and get coup -now have back bet 38.1$ on 10.5
The Matched Bets window show two back bets 38.1$ on 10.5

Are you clicking the mouse twice ?There is a temptation to do this if it appears your back bet is not matched immediately.

Another possible is that your mouse could be faulty & registering 2 clicks when you only click once.

      What's new in version 1.2

Maybe, but what does it change?

Is it possible to do a background check issuing hedge? While not set the previous hedge bet do not respond to the new-obviously this happens because of the pause on inplay.

Because you place two bets, not one and that is why you have the problem. Geek's possible answer should also be addressed and just use a different mouse.

Last Saturday I backed a horse called "Communicator". It appeared he was going to win but I had a funny feeling and traded out. Just as well as the horse was caught and lost very near the finish line. I clicked on the green number and it seemed to be ages before my bet was matched. In reality the time was very short but my brain was worried about losing. Just click once and let the software work in its own time.

I generally do not set the bets, I do hedge. By definition, you can not make two hedge bets with one of the same amount, think about it.

I've thought about it, so, it appears, has Geek. Try clicking five times and see what happens

It all depends on how the software handled click the hedge and how much time.

In preplay this is difficult to achieve, but in inplay possible.

I tried to trade out in a football Over 2.5 market this weekend when the green figure showed a healthy profit. It took me three attempts and I needed to cancel a couple of unmatched hedge bets before I had any profit. The green figure indicates the profit available if the bet is matched and it does not guarantee that profit. There is nothing wrong with The Toy and I was unlucky because my initial bets were not matched.

Presetting hedge bets isn't really worth the effort as, although I have a fair idea of what the next market price will be following the scoring of a goal, I can never be certain. It usually works in my favour to rely on The Toy getting it right for me.

2- i hedge, but you see that one extra
                            3-I completely hedged

You've figured it out yourself. So what's the problem? This is how the software works and you have to accept it.

It's quite logical how it works anyway. A hedge bet is calculated according to the actual market profit/loss. It cannot and should not take into account unmatched bets.
