multi bet tool. pre race. does not "keep" in race

hi all

got a bit of a problemo. when i use the pre race function on the multi bet tool, it places the unmatched lay at the 10 seconds before race start, but when it goes in running the bet cancels. i thought the way to "keep" bets was to use the pre race function.

could someone pleaese set me straight
