Unable to log in etc..

When I open the application, and log in, I get a message
'Access to the path 'C:\ProgramData\AGeeksToy\AGeekstoy\Settings1.1\So undscheme.xml' is denied.

I have downloaded 1.2 beta (uninstalled 1.1), but still have this problem. Any ideas? tia.

Uninstall the current version & re-install 1.1k.

nope

Unfortunately not!
Uninstalled anything and everything relating to the toy, downloaded and installed 1.1, still get the same message

Does it work if you set "Run as administrator" as specified for Windows 7 & Vista here?

If not, the only fix I know is to...

1. Uninstall The Toy.
2. Delete the entire contents of your settings folder.
3. Install it again.

Doing this will lose your settings though.

NB You may be able to copy & paste your settings folder to your desktop & paste the contents back again after reinstalling & running it. { Don't know for sure as I don't have a Vista / Windows 7 PC. to try it on. }

still not able to log in

Tried the above, still getting the same message.
I'll have to come back to this at a later date, thanks for the suggestions, may try on another laptop.. or do a format on this one, nothing to lose at the moment!
