hedge and cancel all bets function

Hello there guys,

When you press the hedge button at the top of the ladder to either green up or red up your position the toy is not cancelling my other bets and leaving them in the ladder, I have checked this option is switched on in the settings, but still cant get it to work, any ideas?

The setting you have checked is for cancelling bets when selecting "Hedge Entire Market" and does not cancel bets when hedging individual selections.

Oh right, I presumed i was pressing the hedge entire market button, is this not the one at the top of the ladders, if not can you tell me where it is, and presumably this will cancel all bets when I press this?

Either Select "Hedge Entire Market" from the ladder menu, or click on the Green / Red figure in the Market & API status window.

Hedge individual runner from Grid

Hi,
Is it possible to hedge an individual runner on the Grid?
I am laying several runners and only wish to hedge - i.e StopLoss the one that now looks likely to win.

I'm not using ladder because my monitor isn't big enough to get >16 runners on with Ladder.

Hi, regarding hedging ... since the last version 1.1g i am not able to cancel all bets just by clicking on the pnl under the timer. How can I achieve it back again?
I guess this has something to do with the new on market hedge functionality. Previously it worked fine:
on individual selection, I could have press hedge (in pnl column) and my working bids and offers were not cancelled, and if I wanted to cancel all working orders I would press hedge entire market pnl button under timer. This would cancell all bets even if there was nothing to hedge.
Now I can choose either "just hedge" but then when I hedge globally (pnl button under timer), none of the working bets are cancelled (when market is already hedged - previously everything was being cancelled), or "cancel bets and hedge" when all my working orders for individual selection are cancelled while I only wanted to hedge slecetion without cancelling bets.

I hope you understand what I mean. Sorry for a bit chaotic question but this change surprised me as I have just installed new version and I keep trading while writing this message.

I hope there is a way to set it to work as it was I just cant find it quickly now ;/

I am bad in English but the Macin did all for me. Traders make bets on several horses lose a lot of opportunities. Work is uncomfortable with the new version.

So to summise, you are saying that sometimes you want to hedge (entire or individual ladder) and leave unmatched bets in the market,

other times you want to hedge (entire or individual ladder) and have your unmatched bets cancelled in the market?

Have you considered using the Hot Keys?

You could keep your setting as 'Hedge Only' but then use the hot keys to cancel whatever you want to be cancelled, ie all bets on just one ladder or all bets in the market, or just all the unmatched Back/Lays.

The most convenient way to trade on multi markets, it is to hedge bet in one market, and leave all unmatched bets in the queue. And at the end of trading to hedge the entire market and remove all unmatched bets with one click. This is possible in version 1.1f. The new 1.1g version eliminates this functional as it is done in two stages using hot keys. Trader loses a second, and hence may lose profit or get a loss.

Today I installed 1.1g and bumped on to the same problem.

I had the hedge on "Cancel Bets Then Hedge" until now and after
changing it to "Just Hedge" it does the job
(just_hedge.img).

For the canceling part of your conversation,
I don't have a problem
because I always use the click on ladder or
cancel via the unmatched bets window.
Usually I don't have more than 4-5 positions open
at the same time and I can handle them fast enough
via the above options.

Maybe a third way can be inputed in the "On Market Hedge" option
that can keep things as it was for users.
