I´ve heard Geeks not accepting to change the betfair login with a £10 fee.
Is this true?

Yes, after a massive re-write of our back end systems due to completely different customer management methods in Betfairs new API, we no longer have the capability in our back end systems to transfer licenses.

Even if we put the systems capability in place to do so in the future, unfortunately we could not transfer licenses for users in Portugal at this time anyway. Betfair have temporarily suspended betting in Portugal due to legal requirements which are beyond our control.

We are aware of the workarounds that users could employ, however if we knowingly transfer licenses for Portuguese users, we are acting as an accessory to circumvent the very laws that Betfair have suspended operations for. This may affect Betfairs license application and our ability to operate as a vendor in Portugal once licensing is in place there and business resumes.

Start of Service - Terms of Services

Your service will start from the point of first use of the product, and will be extended at the point of any cleared payment received from you or on your behalf. Once a subscription is activated it runs for the full term of the subscription. It is not possible to break or temporarily suspend the service. We are not able to offer any credit or refunds for unused portions of your subscription. Your subscription may only be used by the Betfair account for which it is purchased, and is not transferable to any other account.
