  • How can I get the toy to green up when my back bet is done on bookie?

    I have a problem,
I been using Geeks toy for 2 years , its wonderful! , however quite often I am doing matched betting for qualifiers etc, whereby I need to play a back bet on a market with a bookie, I want to lay this on the exchange in running so to use the geeks toy feature of showing me red/green profit/loss in real time.
So for example I go in shop place back bet with bookie before the race , then go to geeks toy and 'tell geeks toy' the stake an odds for my back bet so that when race goes in/running i can see red/green / green up buttons an press them so that toy calculates and puts correct lay bet much quicker than i ever could manually.
So just to recap im not backing an laying in just the exchange I want to 'tell the toy' about my other bet so that is does the correct in running real time calculations ready for me to press 'green up'

    How do I do this?

    Look forward to someone replying

I am replying but it is not the answer you want. It cannot be done as The Toy deals only with bets struck at Betfair. Do some work on a back/lay calculator, print out a spread sheet and use it to calculate lay bets, Then, place manually .

Thanks for replying , yes I am using manual tools right now, but I would like to have the speed of the toy so that I can work fast moving odds with the exact stake i need to get me a 'green up'

If I understand correctly what you wish to do, the tool in the Toy is the ''Multi-bet Tool'' using the stop entry.
Set up your odds ..check the runner in the box ...use the lay option...make sure bet persistence is on 'keep' enter your calculated stake.

However this is simply a back2lay bet going in-play. Why take the skinny bookie back odd when Betfair odds would give you more bang. Makes no sense to me.

The Toy is not a bot so you need to work on your own solutions hth....
