lay the field

this non runner affect, is an absolute nightmare, keeps reducing my odds.
Is there anyway round this?
how can you make lay the field worthwhile when this keeps happening?

only thing I can think is to do a timed bet, and lay every horse separate.
or is there any other options?

If you are laying the field at lower odds just wait until they are off and running before submitting the bet. You will then avoid any reductions due to non runners

I'd like to leave the bet, set up in the evening and and go to work next day.
Would timed bets work, if I set it post off?
