  • Disable the 'Event Suspended' Error box

    Hiya Geek.

Is it possible to provide an option to disable this pop-up. I like to put bets in right at the off, and if I am a bit premature or BF suspend the market for a few seconds then this box stops me from entering my bets until I close it.

    Many thanks - Dave.

Are you talking abut the market suspension ? This is beyond the control of the software manufacturers and is just used by Betfair. There is no way you can actually place your bet until trading is resumed following suspension. Check out the "keep bet" option as this may save you a little time in placing a bet following market suspension.

To disable the pop-ups error messages right click the 'Market & API Status' window.
Go to 'Bet Error Display' and choose 'This Window'.

          Cheers guys :Thumbs

custard: yeah I know that it's a BF thing and that you can't place bets when the market is suspended, but all that I wanted was to be able to hit the back or lay button close to the off and not have to close the error box when it popped up. Obviously I know that those bets fired-in while the market is suspended will not get queued or matched.

direc: many thanks. Yep I think that is what I needed. I'll try it in anger this afternoon.

Once again thank you for your replies guys and happy trading

          Cheers - Dave.

Just remember that if you click when the market is suspended you don't need to close the pop-up, but that click won't send a bet to the market.
