  • Toy keeps hanging!

    Hi fellas

    I am having increasing occasions of the toy hanging and having to shut it down and then it won't load up again. Any suggestions?

    Works perfectly for 99.999% of us so there is something wrong with your computer.

    "All I can suggest is a Windows system restore back to the point AGT was last working OK on your system."

    is what Geek says to some people. Also, do a search and find Netframework issues which might be the cause.

      I've put up with for a while so unsure of how far back i'd have to go for a system restore. Would a uninstall/install fare as well? If so would I lose my settings if i reinstalled it?

        I had assumed that you had already tried reinstalling The Toy. I think the settings remain following a second installation but you seem to have no alternative anyway. The Toy is very stable and the only real bugs are those which the Geeks discover for themselves before we do.

          If you are worried about your settings backup them up to the cloud and then reinstall.

                actually I think it plays up more after a period of inactivity. Also I have trouble with coupons timing out regularly too. It may well be my pc that's the problem as I've recently started to notice response issues but at this stage I have no idea what the problem is.

                  Do you have any other devices { iPad etc } if they show the same traits, it vould be your broadband router, or broadband itself.

                    Yes there's a couple of samsung tablets and a couple of smart phones in the household. You may be right in terms of my bb connection. I have a new sky router coming so that may solve the problem. Fingers crossed.
