        not-important problem audio alerts manager:

my audio alerts manager doesnt keep the new pathes for the sound-files.

as in the geeks toy we have 1000 different folders in 1000 different places for sounds (it seems to me.. as I can remember, the audio alerts manager with its different folders/pathes was always a problem for new users), I created my own folder. but the manager doesnt keep the new pathes and switches always to the old (non-funcional) pathes. even when I try to change the pathes to other toy-pathes, it switches always back to the old ones.

I have no problem with the alerts, I manage it to hear them. but is there any solution that the audio alerts manager keeps new own pathes?

The beauty of the present way in which The Toy works is that one can browse to a sound file of choice. If there was only one location for sound files it would be more difficult and there would be less scope for customisation.

Grid interface pops up besides opened ladder interface after profile change ("load custom profile"). Please fix this annoying bug.

You must be doing something different to me. Mine is fine and I only have to change the sounds if a new version comes out and even that doesn't happen every time. I have some silly sounds - fire engines, dialogue from films, and, my favourite, the sound of a cash register

First time using version with new API,and everything is significantly slower then old version,I hope some new releases will get geeks toy back to old performance.

This is caused by a legacy issue and only affects a small number of people.

The toy was written and tested on XP but then Microsoft introduced some weird permissions shit in Windows 7 that affected the earlier versions of the toy.

In the early versions of the toy to run it on Windows 7, you had to run it as administrator. We fixed it way back so you didn't have to do that, however for some that had, every time they installed a new release it dumped the settings files in this weird hidden location. From memory something in that causes this sound file issue.

We will be publishing a doc soon the guides people on changing their sound links back to the right place, but with everything else we have on in the coming months we just don't have the resource to do any more than that.

With two opened markets (win and place) and more than 10 runners new toy eats 800 mb and up to 40% of cpu. When only win market opened toy eats 500 mb and up to 10% of cpu. Not cool, what causes such waste of resources?
And another one. When changing profile with opened market toy often don't change bet type (in one profile i have type Book, in other Stake), and worst of all - when this happens i can't change type and size globaly, and have to click every selection individually wasting time.

A combination of a slower API and less optimal data in the new API is the cause of that.

The only releases that will enhance the performance are Betfair ones I'm afraid to say.

i have suggestion: now some windows appears only when there is bets placed on the market, like P&L window or matched/unmatched bets window. they appear as example only when someone matches your bet. but if you have lets say tick offset tool kicking in at the same time, this creates bigger lag [well, at least i think so that this is the cause ]. maybe to do option to show these windows permanently, no matter if there is bets in market or not?
