  • Playing snooker with glasses?

    Hey,
I went to play snooker the other week having got glasses not too long ago, I soon realised it was nearly impossible to see anything when lining up shotss lol. Is there any way around this without buying a special pair of glasses?

I believe Dierdre, out of Coronation Street invented a pair of glasses that were perfect for snooker.

Before starring in Corrie, Deirdre, was a World Champion snooker player winning the1962 World tournament.

Her success was largely put down to her choice in glasses, which were initially just a normal pair turned upside down

that allowed her to look down the shaft as she bent over the table ...

As time went on, blind as a bat Deirdre, refined the design which went on to inspire many other snooker players such as Dennis Taylor et al ...

Maybe try glasses with a better fit, or get some with a very thin frame, or no frame around the glas itself.
