can i change the currency on betfair?

hi, i was thinking if i can change the currency i use for betfair money.

at the moment i trade in euro, but i thought that if i can trade in pounds i can keep the same stakes but, in case i make a profit, when i withdraw it is like if i earned +30% (1 pound is around 1.30 euros at the moment).

No. You can't change the currency.

you could set up another account that uses a different currency...

BF have no problem with you having multiple accounts as long as they are linked for PC.

thanks for the info guys, unfortunately for italian users is not possible to open new accounts at the moment.
if things change i'll surely do it

Isn't it really all the same at the end? Doesn't it get converted by Betfair?

So why change? Is it the psychological factor on using bigger stakes?!

I did the same, change from usd to eur using the same logic "for every euro i win, i'll be winning more than for every dollar".

Created the new account, got some bonus in the new one, all was great until i found out that in the other hand, "for every euro i lose, i'll be losing more than for every dollar"...

I lost that bank lol.


But i did fot curious: Does every BF currency goes the same?

How does betfair manage currencys? Are they separated?

Flok i asked to BF customer service if i could open another new account explaining them that i'm an italian with an old account. They said that i can open all the accounts i want, each one with a different payment method (or card).
However i haven't yet opened it.

SKIT: yes, I'd feel more comfortable. every time i try to use bigger stakes i start being scared of possible losses and getting nervous.
and, as we know, being afraid of losses lead us exactly to what we're afraid of, fear changes our way of reacting to external events that we cant control.

PORTMAN: i tried to open a new account, but i got a warning that said "customers from italy should use betfair.it and blah blah blah"
