Smarkets and Betfair Trading solution ??

Afternoon All,

I am seriously considering shifting over to Smarkets bet exchange after speaking with them earlier today and am impressed not only with their 2% flat commission but there straight forward and prompt answers.This coupled with Betfair and it's ever growing commission structure makes good sense for me.

As there is no AGT product for Smarkets, would the following work for trading at Smarkets ??

Provided the odds are similar between betfair and smarkets, I placed my back bets in correct score market on smarkets with real money.

I ran the toy in training mode on my selected football match in betfair, whilst leaving smarkets open. Then when the market hedge goes green on the toy, trade out by hitting the button which then provides me with the necessary lays to lock in profit across the board. Then simply replicate the amounts to lay on smarkets, provided the odds are similar ??

Is this a solution as only 2% commission over there ??

That'll work if you can still get the same prices by the time you've put the bets in.

I am waiting til I get in the green by a safe way to allow for any fluctuations in price movement, so I can lock in a profit.

Also worth bearing in mind that the price can move a fair bit when paying 2% instead of 20% commission if you catch my drift, as probably still make more if the price moves a bit whilst putting the lays on in smarkets.

Be careful with Betfair API usage. Without placing bets from time to time Betfair will close your account quickly.
