I often find myself asking me this question. The majority of people fail miserably but some still continue to trade and even those who do it successfully could surely have a much more comfortably time doing a job elsewhere.
For a lot of people I suppose it's the fact that it's an independent activity, it's you pitting your wits against everybody else who enters the market. For me it's a lot about the challenge, of course there's the money incentive but I try and look at it as one big video game that you've got to try and master.
So I was just wondering what's everyone's motive for trading?
