I'm new here and relatively new to trading, I run a syndicate of about 12 people and we recently gave up on single outcome games and decided to try some trading.
So far so good, I've made 10% or above on all my successful trades and lost a small amount on only 8% of trades, I'm showing a nice profit, so far.
I've had a problem over the last few weeks with markets becoming suspended and being unable to place my redeeming bet after placing the first bet before kick off.
I decided to open an account at betdaq and stick 50 quid in it after the first time, my thinking was, I'll do the lay bet on betdaq, no problem ...
So last night it happened again, I had an under 2.5 back on Dundee and the markets suspended on kick off.
Confidently, I think, no worries I'll use betdaq ( thank god I did that) I que up betdaq to find the market is suspended there as well.
Checking the score is goaless, I had to use my bet 365 account and fortunately managed to back the over before the goal was scored and saved my trade.
So my first lesson is always have enough in a traditional bookie account alongside betfair just in case.
As it happens if I hadn't used b365 on these 2 occassions to save my trade I would have been £100 up as both came in under !!
