If you're using smaller stakes that arent going to affect the market then sure most of the time the best thing to do is put them on both sides, you can always focus more on the side thats getting low and be more ready to scratch that side

Had a good week at Cheltenham had 4 winners and took 140 pts profit £10 stakes

The general conclusion is - Betfair market improve - this is one of the reasons for the API failure I am sure!!!!!!!!! I am also sure they will manage to endure the pressure and the site for time will be stable! Till the new wave of traders come. Betting exchanges is the future and Betfair will grow up in time! Be happy about this - there is a lot of new bettors/traders which you easily can catch! (including me. But I am another case. I just have too much experience on the bookies and know a lot about odds)
But I still need more liquidity on some football games.

Yeah, I noticed that. How much was matched by the end of the race?

A little less than 10 millions, never seen a such amount (except in the big bug day with Voler La Vedette)

Shortly before the start the price had a light drift from 1.77 to 1.89 with impressive tank stakes (bombs of 50000€).
However i'm not prepared to scalp such monster waves

for me today was a total disaster, i'll need a week to retrieve the losses

My best result of the day, by far, was in the 5.40 at southwell trading the big swings on Cloudy Start . Cheltenham was a none event for me today after all the races I was almost level to the penny!
