Stake size for trading

Just wondering, how much of your account as a percentage do you risk per trade? I'm putting ~15% up (albeit of a very small pot).

But, overtime as I've built up my bank I've worked at getting this down to between 5-15% depending on the market volatility.

I use use my full balance for all trades but less than 3% of my total gambling balance per market. (40% cuckoo cuckoo cuckoo) :Naughty

Your only real option is to reduce the stake before you run out of cash and have to refill... I suppose it depends on how confident you are that things will turn around.

I only ever bet 2% of my balance when I bet on football, not a lot but as this is a hobby, I'm not too keen on it ending soon after a bad run.
