    Dear _________,

Someone has tried to log into your account on Betfair Trading and Sports Betting Forum with an incorrect password at least 5 times. This person has been prevented from attempting to login to your account for the next 15 minutes.

The person trying to log into your account had the following IP address: ____________

    All the best,

Someone can tell me what this may mean, what can I do and why this message comes from the geekstoy?

    thanks

All the following accounts were registered in the same region of the world, did you get confused?

I must add that The Geek takes a dim view of free trial abuse.

I received exactly the same message a few minutes ago. And I'm a paying customer, Mr Moderator.

Any idea what's going on? Is someone genuinely trying to hack my forum account - or is the e-mail spam?

Could you please copy the email source code and send it to support so they can tell if it's genuine or a phishing attempt? It is possible someone tried to hack your forum account and the system done what it's designed to do to prevent a brute force attack, i.e., lock your forum account. Recently, spammers have been quite prolific, perhaps they have changed tactics and are trying to hack forum accounts so they can slip under the radar. It is an ongoing battle!

For your concern I'm user who pays the toy geeks since this began to charge subscription and I never use any trial. Multiple nicks happened because as I am no login forum often I end up forgetting me of my access credentials.

After the fantastic help I received I will seriously think if I renew my subscription.

In any case thank you for nothing.

Now now children, toys back in the pram.

The notifications you are receiving are spam bots chancing their arm with a few common passwords, so nothing to worry about if you don't have a password of "password"

Since yesterday that I can't log in Geeks.
              I receive this notification.

THE API has returned the following error codes.

              Header Error Code: OK
              Login Error Code: API ERROR
              Minor Error Code: Login Task-execute-exception
NgErrorCode Error Code: It's not possible to establish a connection with the remote server
I don't understand why has this happened now that I've recently purchased a lifetime subscription.
Can please someone explain me what does this means?
              Can someone help me?
