If I'm not imagining things, aren't you a Linux man, rockaren? If so, what is your reasoning and forseeable benefits of switching to Windows 8?

ohh...well...

I wish I could use Linux and only Linux...but.....
working with images I really miss apps like Photoshop/Lightroom and Aperture....my solution is ..... multibooting

Win/Mac Os X/Linux....

my latest solution is OSx86 = hackintosh = working fantastic = recommended :Thumbs

I got that with Windows 8 RTM (the latest official release). You have to enable support for .Net 2.0 before installing AGT. Go to the contol panel, programs, turn windows features on or off, and enable it - I think it's second from the top.

I just downloaded net framework 3.5 and installed that, it seems to work fine.

Any other bugs when using Windows 8? I'm considering the upgrade to the RTM. If nothing else "Compatibility mode" should fix them, right?

I have been running the consumer preview since it was released, and the RTM since Saturday, using Geeks Toy every day, and have had no problems with it (apart from when Betafair crashes).
