Hello,

I was charged for data usage. This happend to me now twice and it seems only to happen if I use another API product and The Toy at the same time. I use the other product idle Refresh 4.0 sec and In-Running Refresh 0.2 sec.
The Toy I only use in Training Mode for football trading. I don't need a good refresh rate for this. So is it possible to change the refresh rates in a way not to be charged for data usage. A refresh rate of 2 or maybe 3 seconds would be enough for me to try my football trades. Would this solve the problem? And if so what do I have to change in the settings?

I've done this already, but I don't know if I done this correctly and if it's all
that I have to do to get away from these charges.

Maybe you can have a look and tell me if everythink is o.k. with it and what else I can do.

Complete Prices in Hybdrid Mode 2000
Traded Volume 2000

MPC all set to 1

That should be fine, but remember those values are per market you have open.

Also set your other app to < 15 calls per second.

Been in the same boat as yourself using both said apps simult. The problem lies with ' The other one', not AGT Pro! Default settings on AGT never tipped me over the max., even having 20 markets simult open.

My settings on the other prog are refresh 5 Idle and 0.3 IR. Even when you have their limiter set to max 7, it will go over the limit when having too many markets open simult.
I already mentioned this on their forum and to support. They need to work on their limiter, it's not to be trusted, in my opinion. Let's hope the new version of the other prog has a working limiter.

Now, the bot runs when I don't use AGT Pro and vice versa, have not been charged since.

(You can always email Betfair's BDP regarding those charges, they are decent chaps and more than willing to listen to reason, I got a refund the first time.)

I'm exactly the same as Quo, one software at a time only. We can have lots of markets open simultaneously with The Toy but this not the case for the other software.

Can you please tell me where I can find this?

I mailed the Betfair support yesterday and got an answer today but unfortunately no refund. But I had no data charge today so I think this will work with the new settings.

"Your data requests on 12th October would have incurred a charge of 10.42 GBP. We are not applying the charge to your account for this incident. We want you to avoid being charged in future."

Que? What? I have no other apps running. I was only on for about 1 hour...stupid footie matches in Brazil...I only use this app.

Betafair sent me an email

"You incurred a charge in relation to usage on the 9th February of 28.85 EUR. This has been debited from your Betfair account."
I used Geeks Toy and sportingbet same day at same time. Also I check my account balance few times for few seconds on Geeks Toy. I had up to 7 markets open at once. I check my API settings for any case, but I never change them before. Everything is OK - max calls - 15.
Same day I won 5euro and they charge me 29euro?!

Yes, running them both at the same time, will not generate more transactions to each of the service providers than if you ran them on their own.
