Shortcut key for bet persistence

Hey forum,

I trade right before the off and have to then decide quickly if I need to take start price, keep bet or cancel bet as bet persistence. on pretty much every market.
I messed up too often now and cost me too much money to right click every time and select the right action.

How do I create a hotkey for bet persistence please, I know its possible to change some settings by editing the text files of geekstoy in program data/settings, but how do I add custom hotkeys that aren't in the shortcut key manager?

Very important, any advice please??

I do not think this is possible. If it is I would very much like to know as it is something I have been needing for a long time for the same reason you have asked.

I have posted about needing a 'Take SP' shortcut key before and also email support about it before but the only response I had was that I would need to pay for any development on this myself which I can't afford to.

There are quite a lot of other shortcut keys I would like to see added plus some other features that are now common in other software but I do not think the software is being developed like it has been in the past and is being maintained rather than developed into the future. I think they had to do a lot of develop the other year when Betfair changed the API and since then I do not think it is going to be having any new features added which is a shame as it is letting the competition catch up. From what I can see the last update was 12 months ago when version '1.4o' was released with a few features added.

One of the other companies offering trading software has now added a huge section of shortcut keys which you can create almost any shortcut you want.

I do hope I am wrong and The Geek will get back to adding new features so the software maintains its lead over the competition.

You don't use video live streaming to see when the race it's ready to start and exit the trades/ setting SP before the race starts? How many horses you trade in the same time?

i do view the races live but im dutching/bookmaking until right before the off, its often a lot of bets to decide whether to cancel/keep/sp so even if its only a couple of seconds to select the right option i run out of time or mess up too often

Ok, I understand. What did you do yesterday when betfair site crashed at Newton Abbot? Did your SP bets where matched? Market never turned in play, betfair voided my trade out bet that I did after the race started and I lost.....

Unlucky, sometimes I had trouble with SP bets when they failed to suspend the market for Australian Racing or Greyhounds.
Didnt bet yesterday afternoon so cant say about the outage.

After another loss due to not being able to get my order set to take sp in the last few seconds before the off by using the right click menu I would like to ask how much it would cost if I were to pay to have this feature developed for me please?

I think without it going forward I will need to change to another provider that does offer it.
