Weekends are for wimps. I don't even have Bank Holidays. Everything is one long day with periods of light and darkness. We used to have a readily identifiable Sunday but that has merged with all the other days now.

A few weeks ago a nurse examined me at home as part of a Health and Stress study which was started thirty years ago and which will follow all volunteers, like me, to their eventual deaths. In addition to the physical testing, my mental capacity was tested. The hardest questions were " what day is it today and what is the date ? ". Fortunately, I had the correct answers but it was a struggle.
