No. She is really a he in his super hero disguise.

Now if you want a real woman, look no further than our one & only Anita Jane.

We used to have 2 girls here { well 2 that admitted it anyways }, but methinks the testosterone & attention scared one off.

Still here's to our third lady ( I hope ).

I've put up a Bingo section in the betting & trading forums for you girls to feel at home.

    Been Lurking

    Hi Chaps

Just wanted to introduce myself to the forum. I have been lurking for a fair while and thought it was time I got involved in the forum. I'm living in Lockerbie but originally from the black country. I worked in the casino industry for quite a few years, from a dodgey joint in Dublin to the cruises. I only really trade the footy. Lay the Dog or Correct Score mostly. Why? Because the taxman can't get me

I am a girl and I trade sports, however you secretly watch X-factor (for trading purposes obviously) so lets just leave it at that

Hi . I'm new to this forum.
started using api softwares a long time ago and just found geek toy that i appreciate the simplicity.
I'm just curious to know some basic trading strategies and earn some pennies every month if that's possible . Possible ? hhhh
It seems to be a nice community here so wish me luck and courage too hhh.
Thank you and glad to be with you.

for the moment I a sticking to what I know, football, I dont want to start risk other markets like horses, particularly if what I am doing is working.

Any recommendations on books? geared towards trading with football?

i know what you mean, i use betfair daily as well, the toy is really quick to learn, read through the manual and you'll pick it up in no time, i find it useful for trading footy matches, there's no need for doing calcs for greening up, it does it all for you at the click of a button, im finding trading the horses a lot harder than i thought it would be, but thats the same whatever tool you use, you think youve sussed it and then the market just goes in another direction.

yeah the only reason im reluctant is because im profiting everyday using bet fair, I just want to keep that going for the moment.

How long before you fully understand the tool? I am a fairly quick learner

you can have the option of confirming your bets, its a good idea to read through all the help files, just click on the question mark, or read through the manual when you log on. i dont see much point in using betfair direct at first, get used to the toy in training mode and then move onto using small stakes. ive not had much success with the horse trading, well to be honest ive had no success, its so hard to predict the way the odds are going to go, but by employing a strict stoploss im limiting losses, its a case of practice and finding for yourself an entry point with a stoploss in place, the trick is finding that elusive entry point, good luck with your training.

    newbie question

ok trying to get my head around the toy, I have to say it is very impressive, do you think being a beginner it is probably better to use betfair direct to start whilst trying to get to know the market places and how prices fluctuate?

I could be wrong but the tool looks like its designed for the already established trader and not a complete beginner.

I have also noticed the bets seem to be placed instantly, is this as soon as you enter your stake or is there something you need to do to confirm?

Just using training mode at the moment,

    thanks in advance
