account suspended

hello , im new and just starting paper trade with geekstoy , and today i cant login the software , when i tried on the website it tells that my account is suspended and im contacting them via online chat , and told to email to bdp@betfair.com havent got reply yet , am i violating some rules using the software ?

I'm 100% positive yr account suspension has nothing to do with The Toy.

The Geek is fully licensed by BetFair to provide The Toy's services to any BF customer who requires so and wishes to use his (free) software. he actually pays BF fees to do so.

There must be some other reason

I would check with bdp as advised. From what I know account suspensions may happen at Betfair if....

A. You place too many bets under minimum after getting a warning email.
B. They think you are a premium charge avoider.
C. They believe you to be using your account in a country where Betfair is illegal.

I think he has just made a new account at Betfair and they closed it to do the KYC (know your costumer) thing... He need to confirm his account by sending em copy of his documents...

still havent got reply yet , well it might be the kyc policy but the person i chat via online told my account is closed by IT department , and its a really new account and has no fund in it . will try to post later if i got reply from them

don’t know if this will help but a few weeks ago my betfair account got suspended and all i had to do was ring the number it gave me when i tried to login. Mine was closed because it got flagged as compromised and all i had to do was answer some security questions. The reason it was flagged as compromised was because i just had my broadband upgraded and it changed the ip or something so betfair thought i had been hacked. i got my account reopened over the phone in under 10 minutes just had to answer my security questions so if you got a new internet connection it might be that just give them a ring. Hope this helps

is on far east , well the country even listed on deposit list so i assume is legal for betfair , got replied they said the will try to get me on few days will post again later

I got a bizarre one today too.... come to the end of trading and looked at my balance and was down 256.41 .... was like wtf??? started to look through the matched bets in a blind panic thinking how is this possible everything was closed out properly.... couldnt find the bet... the exposure was still viewable but no open bets?? phoned betfair in a bit of a flap thinking id lost a packet instead of making a bit for the day... operator was pretty useless, passed me onto the investigations team, they couldnt work out where i was exposed.... phoned me back 10 mins later and said dunno what the issue was but the exposures cleared and the moneys back in yoru account.... odd

and then i remembered that i left an unmatched bet in a open market
