Hi, If I am trading football I can see the notification of when a goal has been scored but no indication of which team. Does this mean you need to have a live update window open from another site to keep track of the score in a game?

Yes, it does. You could, as an alternative, open the correct score market and by seeing which odds have changed to 1000 this will give you a clue about which team has scored.
I don't think that Betfair actually provide scores and I know of one other proprietary software which uses a third party for scores. You need to be very wary, however, as there are often delays in updating. In reality nothing is better than be able to see the game for yourself but, of course, this isn't possible most of the time. -
Thanks for that, I was also wondering how to see if bets have been matched when you have multiple markets open. It seems like the matched bets window only refers to the last market you traded in, even if you have 4 or 5 active football markets open.Comment

Yes, the bets shown are those which relate to the "active market", the one you have your mouse hovering over at that time. Betfair data charges can be incurred if you run many instances of software so as to follow all the markets. When you get used to it, it's relatively easy to move the cursor across each market and be able to check on bets both matched and unmatched.
I don't think there is any easy way around this problem, The beauty of The Toy is that you can have many markets on your screen at the same time and scan with your mouse, with many of its rivals it is necessary to "open a new page" before you can check another market.Comment
