This guy is certainly no fool...

This man lost £75 playing blackjack in Gibraltar last year. How? Got too drunk and forgot basic strategy.

So his whole strategy revolved around the dealer making a mistake more than the house edge? Doesn't sound real believable to me.

No, dealers play according to strict rules which they obey. I played in Circus Circus Casino and there was a gorgeous Korean dealer. She realised I could play the game properly, unlike the other muppets sitting next to me, and played my hand for me, dealing extra cards or not as appropriate without me telling her. The other players were not aware of this as I masked her action by making the occasional hand gesture or giving a nod.

I had spoken to her at length prior to the game starting and she was really nice. We got on well and, pardon the language, she was "pissed off" with the others who clearly did not have a clue about the game and were taking ages before deciding what they wanted to do with their cards. She played my hand for me so as to speed up the deals. I would like to think that she was being kind to me but, at the same time, she was under orders to play a minimum number of deals during her stint at the table and this was achieved by playing my cards for me.

She was unbelievably beautiful and I couldn't take my eyes off her. She would ordinarily have been my excuse for losing money but she won for me. It was over twenty years ago and on my first day I lost £ 200 by playing roulette, slot machines , just about everything. The day I played blackjack only I won back £ 150. So, two days in Las Vegas and I lost fifty quid.

Dealers play properly. If they don't they get fired.

Agree with Temijun. Not plausible. For starters there's no mention of Tubbs or the Ferrari
