just wondered how the trading was going? aint been anyupdates for while.
Sorry for no reply for a while, Every things still much geared up for going full time in first week of may just trying to put the funds in place at the moment, Tinkering with my set up and exploring my sources of information. Also enjoyed watching Cheltenham in its entirety. Very much looking forward getting under way a few weeks time.
Okay so I've been away for a small time to get my family and financial affairs in order before i give this a proper going now i have the funding. Initially I wanted to bang a few grand into an account but after much thought it got me thinking surely this is the quickest way for a newbie who still has going into play issues to lose a few grand so my new strategy will be to replenish my account every week with £100 then if i go bust only one £100 and i have to only wait a week before i go at it again this sits more comfortably with me. So yesterday i started trading and after 2 hrs was tanking along quite nicely only to be caught out by bet fairs 3 hr at the time I had a few bets scattered in the to back column on a outsider that should and as it turned out to be the case led most of the way for a back to lay, only betfair saw to it that I ended up losing £30 as it went on as a bet for which the horse had no chance although finished 5l adrift the eventual winner, I can only be thankful that I didn't have any hefty bets on and that it only took £30 still waste of and afternoon and leaves a nasty taste in your mouth when it comes to bet fair who think this is tough luck event you they caused it !!!! See yesterday results below ....
Okay update I am now trading full-time funds permitting and so far the results have been only going one way and thats steady profit allday up until the point I make a daily stupid mistake and bring it all crashing down normally to the tune of a £100 a time getting caught in play, betfair website crashing sticky api theres always an excuse it would seem but I guess at the end of the day Im just not there yet. The concept of making money by trading seems incredibly easy money dusnt seem that hard to make but being an ex gambler who's used to the adrenalin rush of having a few hundred on a grey hound going intto the first bend and then knowing my fate 30 secs later is definatley hindering me in this new long term steady game of trading.
