I have one important question to ask - it is true that people from England have less delay in getting in possition than people in Eastern Europe for example? I have a lot of LAG mean lag - I am trying to cancel a bet, but Its not canceled I am getting matched because of lag. And I mean I am trying to cancel it for 3-4 seconds and I am getting matched, not like 1 second ? Is that happen to you ? Should I give up in that case? Its not I am like to giving up but I have to ask some profesional opinion. HELP ME

Did you do this:

Click Start > Run press enter to bring up the command program

then

Type tracert api.betfair.com press enter

If you do it your end and I will do it mine, then we can compare notes..........

My cancels usually take under 100ms to return the response, 3 to 4 seconds is massive. Shouldn't be taking that long even from abroad

for me everything cancels instantly, i mean, with 80-120ms lag, never seen such big delays like 3-4 sec, lithuania

When I get those massive spikes on Horses I will Tracert API. I don't care on football, cuz I am getting in good possitions anyway and Doesn't care about lag so much. But in horses you have to be fast. And Its a problem Its not like it happened once. 2 or 3 times I am in a queue - I click to cancel the bet and before it has been canceled I am matched... Doesn't feel right. OFC I am doing it with very small stakes but this actually doesn't matter... If I can't do it with small stakes - what about bigger ones

I don't feel lag now actually. When I feel lag and playing horses I will tracert asap

I had something similar happen to me a few years back,
it turned out to be the external line that enters my house that was at fault......
Once they replaced it, my connection was back to normal,
just an idea.............

'Destination net unreachable' is not good for horse trading......

In the last 2 days there is some problems with betfa API, so be careful, I dont know what other to say. Im from Serbia and it dosent matter, with good internet everything is almost instantly done. I'm not trading in the last 2 days also coz of API. If u using smaller stakes then the betfair min, less then eur2, then it will be little slow, coz firstly must do odds1.01/1000bet with min stake + ur stakes after that, and cancel the first 1, (so 2bets)... Im not suggesting to any1 to use smaller stakes then the betfair min, coz betfair charging for every bet what is over 1000bet in 1 hour, coz of bots I think.

13 I see betfair-gw.lnd.cw.net [195.89.16.178] destination net unreactable.
Again. Now its morning and should be fine. I actually doesn't understand exactly what is this as the others show normal ms - should I call my internet provider according to you ? Is It possible this to be a problem from Betfair itself on some of their servers, because I rarely (like never) have problems with my i-net?

I would sway towards it being your connection,
have you tried resetting your router and PC......?

Yep and if take a close look you and me are on a same server. Doubleback is on another server. Just see his screen - the ip-s he is tracerting are different! I still think this should be betfair. And if this is Betfair - this is really a discrimation. Do you have problems btw?
