lost £1900 yesterday when betfair suspended the argentina v paraguay game 4 mins early and didnt unsuspend it until after 2 goals was scored...
got the cobblers about its not there fault etc etc, i watched the game via another stream perfectly, and have now asked betfair to prove there was a problem.

can you really make money with this companay...

I just wonder how did you even dare to play that game when there was only 35k matched before the game begins. And with 1.9k. Man think before start trading...Usually I just avoid such a low liquidity games. As I did yesteday as well...

In the matter of fact the should be long gone. They opened back the market around 35-40 mins after start. But I also think it was opened for a while when it was 1-1 couldn't you close it then? I am not sure for that excuse me if I am wrong. But I think it was open...

Unlucky, what markets did you play? When the market reopened it was 1-1 so probably could have recovered some unless you were playing the CS markets, even then you had 4 minutes to try and balance with the bookies.

Sadly it's always a risk as soon as we place a bet on betfair your fate is in their incompetent hands.

That is shit luck mate, happened to me plenty of times (well, similar scenarios).. Very rarely, do they come in in your favour. Feeling for you bud....
Times like this we need to evaluate our money management and make sure we aren't going in too hard to what we can afford, because we are always open for something to go wrong and must be prepared to recover from it WHEN it happens.

tbh they aren't at their best and the same thing happened today in russian game, market suspended for like 2 or 3 minutes, I had a bet on under 2.5 so was going to lay it off cuz of late goal but suspended market hammered me
