Odds Collecting Bot

Hello Traders,

I am new over here and need some help from experienced ones with my question.
I would like to collect some soccer odds from different markets from BetFair
but have no idea how to start to build a bot for it.
If somebody can point me to the right direction or give me a simple one which I can play with to learn it, it would be fantastic.
I am happy to do it myself but need some help at the start.

I already started to read napshnap's link which great for bot building.
And I think I asked wrong question in the beginning.
Because actually I would like only collect data for my research so the spreadsheets should help me.
But napshnap gave me the answer for my next question for building the bot.

@PesceLesso: I downloaded both VB/Excel Sample spreadsheets but neither works for me...
I mean I have compile errors after I open any of them and as I am a complete noob in VB I have no idea what to fix...
Please help.
