  • Soccer, backing current score strat.

Games where the unders are 'odds on'

At K.O. back 0-0, trade out when happy with the green when no goal scored.
When first goal goes in, your 0-0 back is lost, now you back the current score(0-1 or 1-0) and double your stake you had on the 0-0,

I know it sounds like 'Martingale', and we all know how bankcrushing that can be, BUT......if you pick low scoring games(alledgedly), there must be a longer period in the game without scoring, so the current score goes down quite a lot in price for you to trade out for a nice green.

Maybe only limiting this till HT, and move on to the next match, because prices of current and next scorelines can be quite low in the second half.........

    Any thoughts?

I think you hit the nail on the head when you said Martingale.

This will go well for a while but then devastate you in one blow. Or simply devastate you on the first go.

What I've noticed is that if you hit the current score the odds will even go up a bit as no one expects it to last till the end. Around the 70th minute it turns the other way and starts creeping down.

I've been changing my tactic to try to be one goal ahead. For instance if I see a game with a clear favorite I'll cover 2-0 for 5 units, 3-1 for 5 units and 0-0 for 1 unit.

The 0-0 is insurance only and I put the laybet in at the point where total liability is covered thus giving me a freeroll on the others. If the favorite makes the 1-0 I'll be looking to lay of the 2-0 if I have a green screen. I'll also look to add 3-0

If the underdog scores I still have the 3-1 as backup plan but will also be eyeballing the 1-2 oddwise.

I've just started on the football market and I use microstakes so please don't take this as religion and get a 2nd mortgage to get stuck in.
If it wasn't for physics and law enforcement I'd be unstoppable!

      Lay current score

I hear Laying the current score is much more likely to be successfull over time! obviously some analysis is needed and also knowledge of teams form etc!

I've been looking at Psychoff's £100k blog and it's a strategy that he seems to get a good level of success from.

Yes, it seems he lays the correct score in injury time if games are level and one team is pushing for the win, he doesn't say this but it's easy to work out from looking at his screenshots and then looking up the match report of the games.

Psychoff made money scalping the markets. In and out at the right moment.
