Interesting one, this.
West Ham could and possibly should have scored 2/3 against the Champions Chelsea last weekend, Frederic Piquionne hang your head in shame son Losses to Man Utd, Bolton and Aston Villa have ensured that West Ham are none from 4 coming into this.
Stoke took all of 93 mins to see off a currently erratic Aston Villa side last weekend, earlier they had suffered defeat at the hands of Wolves, Spurs and Chelsea.

Apparently we should not expect to see Avram Grant at any stage this afternoon, he is Yom Kippuring it up somewhere. I think that's an Israeli excuse to lock yourself in a dark room
Matthew Upson is thought to be the number one problem at Upton Park, his 'Should I stay, or should I go' dilemma has rubbed off onto his team mates and confidence is at a particularly low level.
For me West Ham are the better 'Paper' side - Carlton Cole would have got regular football had his move to Liverpool materialised (January??) and the midfield of Scotty Parker, Mark Noble and Kieron Dyer is a good one.
Stoke are grafters, that much is a certainty. Kenwyne Jones is not dis-similar to Carlton Cole in being a fairly quick, finishing target man. I fancy him to get on the scoresheet here, hopefully first (Or last )
Where there's Rob Green, there's goals - so they say. An hour of Radiohead awaits, then I shall be looking to line my weekend wallet;
Kenwyne Jones to score 1st / last (13/2 with VC is best around)
HT/FT (Dutched) - Stoke / West Ham @ 55.0 , West Ham / Stoke @ 30.0
CS - Stoke 3-1 @ 19.0
Draw 2-2 @ 19.5
West Ham 2-1 @ 18.5
Be lucky
