  • A long term trading strategy . . . .

Here's a simple long term trading strategy i use everyday

At 9:30 in the morning (early i know), open atr and open hugh taylors page

    http://www.attheraces.com/tips/

Sit there like an idiot refreshing the page every couple of minutes until he posts his selections

Back them all with a trailing stop at ten ticks

Sit and watch the money roll in

Seriously though i do it everyday, and nearly all of his selections shorten his price, one because punters get on them, and two because the bookies shit themselves and reduce their liability. I just hedge before the race and thats that. You can get swings from like 25/1 to 8/1 A good way to build up your account, just thought i would share it with you

    Nice one, ST!

So there must be other tipsters that have a flock of punters following their tips, this could work on other tipsters too, maybe...

I know it works for pricewise extra, but you have to pay for that. I would say that hugh taylors tips affect the market more than any other tipster.

I did say it was simple Thing is, you can make massive trades even with small stakes like £50. Like i said before, they regularly come in form 20.00 into 10.00, £50 hedged profit

Best part, it's 10:30 over here so almost doable.

Almost all the big tipsters will have this effect but most are paid for. A good blog to look at which follows several tipsters and posts his results daily is JP's Betting Blog, it has been going for about 3 years. It is a very well established blog and the guy behind it is legit.

The blog's purpose is to show how he does following tipsters and not selling the tipsters just incase you are wondering.

Each day after racing he posts the tips he recieved and the price at which they were advised and the price he got on at and the s.p.

If followign tipsters for trading is somethign you are interested in you can get an idea from the blog the kind of effect the tipsters have on the market from lookign through his posts.

Basically the bigger the tipster in terms of followers the more likely the tips will shorten.

Interesting that he subscribes to Steve Lewis Hamilton but not to Henry Rix who is arguably the better tipster.

Tuesday is the most profitable day, fingers crossed!

That's a very cool blog Leon! I'm reading it with interest. Wouldn't be my cup of tea but I'm positively surprised by his results.

Just shows you how much money is around in this game and how many angles can be potentially succesfull.
