  • Thomson Hol-lay-days daily lays

New month starts Monday and our horse racing section needs a lift.
Footy guys and Tennis bods all going great guns, what we need here is a laying thread. (grown heard in the background).

Lots of sites do lay threads, guy puts up his selections using his secret winning criteria, month later gets all upset has a forum row and takes his stuff off to his own website, e-mail service, private chat room, sms tipping line etc etc. Need it be so, can a lay method be used by all readers with everyone knowing the selection process?

So as part of the free revolution starting on Monday 1.3.2010 a new look at laying.

A laying system that has been years in development.
The selections given by this system will be presented before you so you can profit from them as I have done for some considerable time now.

I will be putting up the selections from this amazing method, the details of which will remain secret for now.
After I have proven to you the merit of this method then it may be possible for some of you to join me in the journey to true riches that await.

Detailed records of the systems performance are available going back to the last century.

This system works for British Racing, Irish Racing, Middle Eastern Racing, Australian Racing, American Racing, and even Greyhound Racing.

The selection process is a closely guarded secret that has taken years to perfect and transfer into code, but is now available at the touch of a few buttons’ on a keyboard.

More soon…….check out last weeks results here

What’s in a name? Everything really, and that’s why the name of this system is like it is…

Madeupofthreeormorewordswithnogaps system is completely random but at the same time uses a constant, ie the horse’s name. Whether this selection method wins or looses’ is a pure guess. Some would argue that all lay systems are just guesswork. So last week I put it to the test.
Here are the results : bottom of page

The rules for this system are simple..
The name of the horse is Madeupofthreeormorewordswithnogaps
      No lays below evens 2.00
      No lays above 30.00.

I put a £100 bank for this, laying to a £10 or 10% liability and as you see from the results made some profit. So rather than drop the idea I thought Id post it up and see how long it can run before it falls over.

I need to do something as regards a staking plan so will post that up tomorrow with the times of the races that contain qualifier’s.

I hope this thread has made some of you smile and who knows if you join the ride may make some profits.
For those that haven’t worked it out yet the selections in the races will be the ones who’s name is Madeupofthreeormorewordswithnogaps

This is pure genius, brilliant! Mr Martin Gale and the S.A.W. systems are leaving the building as we speak, Fancy Fillies is still in doubt, but is also packing, if rumours are correct

Your right Drifter and the week before Wagonmastergeneral put up a winner that qualified.
Unusually that day another one went in at Wolves on the twilight card, thats what caught my eye, and here we are. Just a numbers game at the end of the day but I want to see how it plays..

Touched on the rules in an earlier post but these are just my rules. If your mad enough to follow this system you can use whatever parameters you see fit.
                    STAKING PLAN
Laying to a fixed liability: I don't like to use this because it's inherently mathematically unsound - it ignores the fact that accidents are far more likely to happen at the lower end of the scale: if I lay a 2/1 favourite (i.e. I lay it at an exchange price of 3.0), the overall risk of that bet losing (the horse winning) is of course higher than one which was a lay at 8.0 (7/1).
However I’m going to go with this because of the diversity of odds involved and try to reward and progress the system as well as safeguard the bank.

Therefore in keeping with the theme of the thread the staking plan I’m using is called
                    Twostepsforwardthreestepsback.

Starting bank £100..liability for each lay 10%=£10..£10 is one step
Should the bank grow, then when the net gain exceeds 2 steps ie £20 reset to a new liability of 10% = Bank £120..liability for each lay 10%=£12 which becomes the next step.
Should the bank shrink then the liability used does not get reset until 3 steps have been lost. Down to £70, then reset to 10% = £7..This tracks the initial steps used to set the liability.

Don’t know if this will pan out but that’s what I’m doing, if you follow then you can use whatever plan you want. Indeed post up plans and results if you wish.

As I'm feeling psychic this morning i'm going to guess at:

                          14.30 FLOWONLOVELYRIVER
                          14.40 SHAWKANTANGO

15.20 INTHEJUNGLE - (might run the wrong way round is all goes according to plan)
                          15.40 ALFREDTHEORDINARY
                          17.00 KECKERROCKERNIXES and FISHOUTOFWATER

p.s. not shouting just cut & paste.

As I understand it, you pick your own. Bust must be three words stuck together as name of horse. e.g. Upthestairs, Growyourown, and Upyoursmate.
It's very well researched as is provided by a man who does not live in Turkey, unlike the laying system they have "over the road".

You have a very dry sense of humour bazbaz. I like that.
