Anyone notice an amount below Lay or Above back one or two points today of £1105 that flashes in and out for a very short time - any ideas?

Spoofers who are trying to match on one of the other spots above or below, by keeping a largish amount out of the action they are hoping to keep the price where it is or indeed push it up or down.

I saw a similar thing a couple of days ago, an amount around £1200 was being put in an out of the market a couple of times a second for a good while. Im not sure what they achieve. I saw a simliar thing in a thin market where Im sure someone was putting £13 on one side, cancelling it, then putting it on the other, and doing this with smaller amounts too, trying to simulate a lot of action i guess.

I hate spoofers
We could start a new group, "action against spoof" (more imaginative titles welcome).
When you see obvious spoof money in a market we all go against it and clear their bank out
Don't spoof the market cos your trade went bad, we're coming to get yer.

I saw it yesterday on one of the race. Strangely I had an unmatched order on the same price, yet it took AGES to get taken even though you would have thought that when they cancelled their 'bet' it would have jumped right up in the queue. At the time I wondered if it was a glitch on part of the API, but I've certainly seen this before a few times. What are they trying to acheive exactly? I think that there are some bots out there that have many different programs, and one of them is simply to confuse people as much as possible.Tough times don't last. Tough people do.

Spoofing is cool.
It's just another art (way) of trading.
