  • US Masters 2013

Early to start to think of this years Masters, however there are worms to be caught.
Two international invitees this year, the usual Ryo Ishikawa and the Asian top banana Thaworn Wirachant, wiki link ; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thaworn_Wiratchant

Now this guy Knows how to win and won't fear the challenge of Augusta. At 1000 on the exchange a small investment must have value.....Maybe?

£45 traded on the chart £20 is mine so a ground floor entry......

    Magnum PI does Augusta

This bloke has been here before. Back in 2008 he thought the world owed him, soon found out different. Now he's earned another go, this time he may have his head right, no doubt about his game.
So the odds for Johnson Wagner are huge on the machine.
I've had a fiver at 850 and wish him well..........

It will soon be upon us and the first round will begin.
Here's a newcomer that has a very good pedigree, Branden Grace http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Branden_Grace
I've just taken 300 about him on Betfair which is double any bookie atm. Will also keep an eye on the specials markets for him. Looks to have what it takes....

        Has he pulled out?
When I die and they lay me to rest,
I'm gonna get pissed with Georgie Best

Don't know exactly Firk but all bets have been voided and stakes returned so there seems to have been a qualification problem.
Who are you on this year?
I got a bit matched on the field against the big 4 @ 1.7 now @ 1.56 so happy with that entry, see how that goes.
Tiger could make this a walk in the park, forms back, new girlfriend etc, first round should be interesting........

Thaworn Wirachant had a bad opening 10 holes. Needs to really pick up

Anyone attempting in-play trading? I wouldn't know where to begin. I'm looking at the crowd to see if there's many people on mobiles or laptops.
                  Come on Rory!

Yep, your right Firk, Thaworn should pick his ball up go get Branden and head off to the car park before the rush. Their game is over.

Been a good first day here though. Cashed out on the field bet @1.5. big 4 all started slow but look dangerous.
As I see it -3.5 looks to be about the lead score and the pins will be harder today. The cream should rise today and the big 4 could get back into it.
I will be watching those players.

Aussie to win the masters.?....Never been done, but there up for it this year.
Jason and Marc are playing great and look to be staying around. Prices are good too given the state of play.
However Adam Scott has been under the radar as far as the media are concerned but is thereabouts. He has got to -3 with a dreadful performance on the par 5's.... -1 on them so far when he would expect to be -4 at this stage.
Given he has two compatriots in front I can see Adam wanting to be part of this Aussie challenge....16/1 is a bit skinny but may come good....

Icreed...IMO this sport is about in-play trading. It helps if you have played golf at a competitive level to understand the psychology of the play.
For me it's all about the free bet...Use your knowledge of the players and how they go about their work. Having just bogeyed a hole will they get it back on the next par 5 or will it get to them etc..
Pick a player you think will move up, back at good odds and have an exit number...If he goes the right way get the stake off soon as, leave the green ride, look for another shooting star or a short odds that's coming to a few tough holes........Most of all have fun, protect the stakes, play the free money....

I love the psychological aspect of sport, especially individual sports. Tiger must have been seriously p*ssed off after his shot hit the flag and rolled into the water. The anger and frustration must be so hard to control; just the slightest bit of tension and your next shot could go awol. Fantastic to watch though.
