  • Persuade the geek.......

Hi all a quick poll to try and persuade the geek to adapt the toy for betdaq.....

Obviously it takes alot of his time and because he's such a good bloke he does it for free, personally im really keen on getting my business over to betdaq but cant really see it happening without a Geeks Toy... possibly the best trading software in the world. Obviously this idea wont suit everybody so please dont turn it into a mickey mouse thread because you dont agree just vote accordingly. Obviously if you vote and the geek agree's its in the interest of his family to take the time out to create a Betdaq toy then you'll probably have to turn your answer into action.....

    Fingers crossed

How much would you donate to get the geek to create a Betdaq toy this month?
    Zero!

Reason? I'm one of those that cannot use PayPal, so as long as there's no alternative that works for me, there's a snake in my wallet...

Otherwise, I think 20 EUR (or GBP, not a big difference) is reasonable amount.

£35 which is €40? But I'd actually pay more. Also, Wednesday, there must be another way for you to pay? Maybe a bank transfer? It's 2011!

i have no idea what kind of work and how long/difficult it would be for mr. geek, so i can't quantify exactly... but i'd surely donate and like a toy for betdaq when i'll finish the 1000 euros of "free" charge on betfair.
(how generous from their side... "we'll screw you, but the first 1000 times we'll only say it without really doing it, so in the meantime you can get used to the idea")

              good post chuck!

can we set up a new donation scheme, raise enough cash, and maybe dr. geek could outsource the build?

Peewee to offer TG £5000.01 not to make it.

He'd make it for free if PeeWee did that...

The amounts are far too small. I’d be prepared to make a reasonable donation to enable TG to do the work required. I appreciate he has other things to do, and a life away from all this, and respect that. I also hear rumours that Betdaq may be updating their API, so it may not be worth putting effort into something that then becomes obsolete. It would be great to hear from Betdaq as to whether this is the case, or whether they will add the additional features to their current API that people have asked for.

Maybe start another poll with realistic donation amounts to get a better idea of where we stand .

I don't want to derail this tread, but didn't a guy crack the Toy and made it work with Betdaq? Or was it all a joke? If it was real, I suppose it is against the Toy's T&C, but couldn't the Geek contact the guy to see what's the work that has been done already. Maybe (and I say that without nowing anything about this) a basic working version of the Toy for Betdaq wouldn't need much more work to complete.

that was something different. Read the thread and it states not a line of AGT was rewritten for that to work.
