This is currently the subject of discussion elsewhere. Betfair appear to be making a concerted effort to reduce the number of bets which are placed and which are under the Betfair minimum limit. I appreciate that the original poster may be placing his bets at appropriate levels but some people who routinely place bets below the minimum amount are experiencing the same error.

The error is most commonly seen where traders are dutching and placing lay bets at high prices. In their attempts at reducing their liability, many "small" bets may be placed simultaneously. Betfair don't want this and the bets are rejected.

The latest informed opinion is that there is an error with the Betfair API especially when
(i) bets are resized,
(ii) multiple bets placed at the same time (more than 6 ),
(iii) bets below minimum.


Others, better informed than I am, believe that the trading software is not responsible for the error and that the blame lies with Betfair.

I did not say, nor say that the program is responsible for the error, just as I commented in version 1.2g was an error that did not know (as in prior to this release)

I've had this same message displayed, even with the new download. My stakes are between £5 and £20 so it shouldn't be to do with that. I'll get in touch with Betfair and let you know what they say. Cheers.

The latest is that Betfair have acknowledged that the problem lies with their systems and are working to reduce the number of error messages. The Toy is innocent
