  • i don't see the market correctly

hi everybody, i have a problem with the toy, i don't see the exact amount of money in the market.

    i explain with an example:
in the toy ladder i see 1000 at 1.50 and 1000 at 1.40, ok?
so obviously i put my stakes at 1.49 and 1.41 waiting to get them matched but they dont. and in the meantime i see money getting exchanged at other prices between my stakes.
so i go to check on the betfair site interface, and i see that the market is full of money at the prices that on the toy appear empty.

am i the only one with this issue?
my connection is wifi and, since i'm far from the access point, sometimes the signal is not so strong. i think this can be the cause of the problem, can you confirm?

obviously this is not a complaint, the toy is a great software (and FREE) so the last thing i want to do is unuseful criticism. i just want to understand the causes of my issue and solve it.
    thanks, ciao

Do you have the available window showing and unrolled? I had the same thing when I started using the toy. It only shows the closest three available funds unless you have the available bit open.

This is not an error in the product, but caused by this...

All API solutions suffer this, as Betfair do not provide us with the same data you see on the website.

I was flumoxed by the same thing Flok and started a thread about it below which contains some useful information to help get your head around what is happening.

The link put up by Geek doesnt appear to be working, but a search on the words cross & matching brought this up which I think is what he was referring to

thanks everybody for the answers, i've been taking a look at the links and understood the problem.
i think i'll go ahead with horses markets... it's impossible to scalp soccer markets since you don't see if your money is in a position that can be matched or not
