  • Location of graphics keeps moving

    Every time I fire up AGT, the 2nd graphs go back to the position I moved them from. Any thoughts?

    Thanks.

    Have you saved the profile after you have moved the graph ?

      Maybe you are moving them to the wrong place...

        That's the first thing I did. Have also uploaded to cloud. Multiple times.

            I have a similar issue in that every time I open the toy the staking box is undocked.

            I change it back to docked and then save the layout, but then when I start it again he box is undocked, not really that important but strange.

                This sounds like a file permissions issue with Vista / Windows 7.

                Try right clicking the desktop icon, selecting the compatibility tab & then checking "Run as administrator" to see if that cures it.

                  Hm. I suspect it's not acknowledging the fact I'm using a particular resolution (1680x1050). I put the graphs for the second market on the far right touching the edge of the screen and they both appear further in. All other windows are where I left them if I moved them.

                    Still not working!

                    When I put the graphs to bottom right, they re-appear bottom right but about 3 inches from edge of screen.

                      Are you talking immediately, or next time you start the app?

                        Every time I start AGT, the graphs for market 2 that I'd set on the far bottom right appear about 3 inches left of their original position. I think it has something to do with screen resolutions.

                        The above is how I want things. The red squares are where the two graphs on the right start whenever I fire up AGT.

                        I suspect it's resolution-related.

                          If you don't change your resolution, maybe it's something like the Toy can't adapt to your resolution, try more common resolution, save your position, and reopen the Toy.

                            Thanks. Oddly, the first market window happily opens top right. And this is only a recent problem.

                              I still think this may be a permissions issue where Win 7 is not letting you overwrite your setting files from the previous version.

                              Try this....

                              1. Set all the charts correctly & then save your current settings as a new profile. { Lets call it ProfileXXX }

                              2. Shut down the app.

                              3. Open your settings folder in Windows explorer.

                              4. Delete all the files in your settings folder. { NOT the folders though as they are your profiles. }

                              5. Start up the app & load ProfileXXX

                              6. Shut down the app & restart.
