A long list of sites to research stats.... For what, exactly?

Please don't tell me there are still people out there who sit down and enter trades based on what has happened in the past... (BANGS HEAD ON WALL).....

See through the stats, assess each game individually and don't follow markets.

Nobody in their right mind would BET on the outcome of a game based on previous scores between two teams, come on guys.....

Stats are stats until a run of results ends and a new one starts.

      Madness

Stats are useful in many ways.
        Don't be too harsh.

Stats are not useful to everyone but are to some - not for in play trading but does help to see where a market could be/might be/should be prior to opening.

Old post indeed, but I thaught why not giving it a chance, maybe I can find the answer here...

Are you aware of any sites offering timings per 5 minutes?

I`m now using www.Soccerkeep.com - here they offer timings per 15 minutes, 10 minutes and per each half. It looks way much better than the other already popular websites for me, simply because the information is structured well enough for anyone to understand. They offer very advanced soccer stats, live scores and free betting tips with a good success rate. Timings per 5 minutes are missing though, I contacted their support and they told me willbe available in near future...

I'm wondering why people learn Statistics professionally then (and sport statistics methods (like me, for example, getting a Bachelor's degree in Applied Statistics and Economics at University of Houston Dowtown)? Stats are indeed helpful in may ways.
